ABOUT US

Above: Beto Yarce's family, the original founders of Cintli

In 1989, Cintli began as a small, family-owned business in Zapopan, near Guadalajara, Mexico with the goal of promoting the centuries-old tradition of fine Mexican silver jewelry, while adding a contemporary flair and urban energy. The name Cintli, in fact, refers to the mythological Zapopan Goddess of Corn.

In 2003, Beto Yarce opened a second branch of Cintli, called Cintli by Beto Yarce, in Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market. This branch quickly became known for its unique jewelry and folk art, supporting the sustainability movement from an early start.
